NEHU (North Eastern Hill University) was founded on 19th July 1973 by an Act of Parliament. The University is situated in Shillong, Meghalaya. NEHU has two campuses, one main campus in Shillong located at Mawkynroh, Umshing and the Tura campus located at Chandmari, Tura. The University has been given a 4-star status by NAAC. The University provides different Undergraduate, Postgraduate and research-based programs to the candidates. At present, there are fifty-three UG colleges affiliated to the University including eight professional colleges. The University Central Library whose membership includes university and college teachers, PG and UG honours students and members of the non- teaching staff has a collection of close to 2,00,000 books, 38,000 bound periodicals and it subscribes to 316 foreign and 366 Indian present journals.

NEHU Exam Admit Card / Hall Ticket Download

The annual term end examinations of the university are held twice a year in the months of March and October respectively. The exam notifications are released online for this purpose under the “Examination” section. The applicants are issued admit cards offline by the university from the concerned departments. They can, however, check the official website of the university in case, the admit cards are available online for this purpose. The hall ticket is the mandatory document to be carried at the examination centre to enter in the examination hall. The North Eastern Hill University admit card can be downloaded through online mode. It cannot be sent to any Students individually by post or by any other means. Students are advised to verify all the details printed on the admit card is same as per the application form or not. Must preserve the admit card till the admission process. Students should note that without valid admit card no Students will be allowed to enter in the examination centre.

• After this, candidates will be directed to the payment page where payment can be made through credit card, debit card or net banking.
• After payment, the final submission of application will be done.
