CMJ University (CMJU) has been established by an act of (No. 4 of 2009) of state Legislature of Meghalaya as a State Private University and is empowered to award degrees as specified by the UGC under Section 22 of UGC Act 1956 through its main campus with the approval of statutory body. This University has been set up for the North East region in general so that it does not lag behind in the new Knowledge era. Consequently, the CMJ Group headed by Mr. C.M. Jha decided to set up one of the first private university in Meghalaya in 2009. It has been spread on the area of more than 1, 50,000 sq ft with well furnished modern classrooms, fully equipped laboratories, well-stocked library with broadband connectivity and well-qualified faculty. It provides full residential facilities both for Boys and Girls. It has a campus named CMJ University & SEMC Campus.

CMJ University Undergraduate Courses Admission 2019

CMJ University, Shillong offers B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Sc., B. Com, BCA, BBA, BFA, BHM, BHTM, BHMCT, Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yoga Science, BBA degree courses at the UG level. Students must have passed 12th (10+2) or equivalent exam from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible to apply for these programs.

For B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Sc. and BCA program, Students must have passed 12th (10+2) or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology as subjects in Class XII. For Management and Hospitality degree courses, Students must have passed the Class X.

Admission is done on the basis of marks scored in the last qualifying exam.

CMJ University Postgraduate Admission 2019

CMJ University, Shillong offers PG Program in 2 specializations, M.A., M.Sc., M.Tech, M.Com, MCA, Ll.M, MBA and various other degree courses at the PG level.

Students must have graduation degree in the relevant subject obtained through the 12th (10+2)+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA to be eligible to apply for the PG degree program.

Students are selected for admission on the basis of marks in last qualifying examination. For MBA, the university will conduct Group Discussion and Personal Interview(GDPI). A merit list is prepared for all categories based on Aspirant’s performance.

CMJ University Certification, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and PG Diploma Courses Admission 2019

CMJ University, Shillong also offers Certification, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and PG Diploma courses in various fields. Students should have passed 12th (10+2) or equivalent exam from a recognized board with minimum 55% marks in aggregate to be eligible to apply for Certification, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma Courses.

For PG Diploma courses, Students must have graduation degree in the relevant subject(s) with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA.

Selection is done on the basis of the marks in the qualifying examination. The merit list is prepared for all categories based on Aspirants marks at graduation. Aspirants who will clear the cut-off score set by the college will be called for further admission procedure.

CMJ University Ph.D. and M.Phil Admission 2019

The University also offers Ph.D. in Law and Forestry along with M.Phil in Mathematics and Botany.

For the Ph.D. degree, Students must have a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA. Students must have a Master’s degree in Mathematics/Botany or M.Sc in relevant stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA to eligible for M.Phil courses.

Selection is done on the basis of performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview organized by CMJ University for different courses and the marks in the qualifying examination. The merit list will be prepared for all categories based on Aspirants marks at graduation. Aspirants who clear the cut-off score set by the college will be called for further admission procedure.

• Go through the information booklet carefully and then select the educational program of your choice
• Fill up the admission application form carefully.
• Affix copies of all required documents/certificates and mark sheets.
• Send the completed application form along with candidate’s recent photographs and demand draft of the first installment admission fees to the given address. The fee can also be paid in person through visiting University’s office and authorized counseling center.
